The Spirit Within Collection

Each piece in this collection carries part of my history. I mix wood chips and sawdust from past carvings into the material, giving new life to what came before. The base form is molded, but every surface is re-carved by hand so the paint can take hold and the details come alive.Nothing here is identical — every face is shaped, refined, and painted by hand until it finds its own character.

The Wall Spirits are made to hang and watch over a room. The Desk Buddies are smaller companions meant to sit nearby — a bit of company while you work or think.

Some wear a grin, some stay quiet, some look like they’ve seen everything. Each one is finished in either black and white iridescent or sepia tone, with its own personality shining through.

Every piece in this collection carries a bit of my past work. I mix in wood chips and sawdust from older carvings, so each one has a little history built right in.

The base form starts from a mold, but I go back over every surface by hand — carving the details and roughing it just enough so the paint can grab on. That’s where each piece really starts to come alive.

None of them end up the same. Each face takes on its own look and mood — some serious, some funny, some just quietly watching.

The Wall Spirits are made to hang and keep an eye on things. The Desk Buddies are smaller pieces meant to sit close by, good company for the day.

They’re all hand-painted in either black and white iridescent or sepia tone, depending on the personality that comes out of the carving.
